Alignment with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
Il’laramatak Youth Concerns is deeply committed to aligning its activities with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Our initiatives directly contribute to various SDGs, and we actively track specific SDG indicators to measure our progress.
SDG 2: Zero Hunger
Indicator 2.1.1 (Prevalence of undernourishment) Our sustainable farming initiatives and fundraising activities for food aid directly address this indicator. By promoting sustainable farming and providing immediate food aid, we aim to reduce undernourishment in vulnerable communities.
SDG 13: Climate Action
Indicator 13.3.1 (Number of countries that have integrated mitigation, adaptation, impact reduction, and early warning into primary, secondary, and tertiary curricula) Our efforts to engage with various actors in climate action, spreading awareness about climate change, and shifting to green energy, align with this indicator. We work to integrate climate action into educational curricula and promote climate literacy.
SDG 5: Gender Equality
Indicator 5.1.1 (Whether or not legal frameworks are in place to promote, enforce, and monitor equality and non-discrimination on the basis of sex) Our sustainable farming initiatives and fundraising activities for food aid directly address this indicator. By promoting sustainable farming and providing immediate food aid, we aim to reduce undernourishment in vulnerable communities.
SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth
Indicator 8.3.1 (Average hourly earnings of female and male employees, by occupation, age, and persons with disabilities) Our focus on job creation and economic growth directly impacts this indicator, especially regarding the average hourly earnings of employees. We aim to ensure that job opportunities created benefit individuals equitably.
